Nicholas Michael Boehm 36 of Camarillo and Golleta, California passed away on Februray 21, 2017 in his home in Camarillo after a 3 year battle with cancer. Nicholas was born in Stanford, CA to Paul and Lori Boehm on January 15, 1981. He with to high school at Adolfo Camarillo and graduated in 2000. Nicholas went to Santa Barbara Community College, but received his true education from his life in the real world. He enjoyed music, movies, gaming, and politics. Nicholas was a board memeber for Tri-County Regional Center (TCRC) and later a Peer Advocate for the TCRC. Nicholas was involved with protecting the rights of all disabled people and worked with State and Federal Legislators. He is survived by his father Paul Boehm, mother Lori Boehm, sister Gevevieve Boehm and his two nieces Saoirse and Shaelyn Boehm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Tri-Counrty Regional Center Client Fund. Detials will be provided later. The family wishes to extend their graditude to the medical staff of the multiple UCLA Medical Facilities that treated Nicholas and never gave up on him to the end. Nicholas leaves behind so many people whose lives he touched for the better. He was instantly able to make like him and become his friend
His California Funeral Services will be Sunday February 26th with visiting hours from 2:00 to 6:00pm in the JOSEPH P. REARDON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICE, 757 E. Main Street Ventura, and a service in the Funeral Home at 5:00pm. Additional a service will be held in Cincinnati, Ohio on March 3rd where he will laid to rest by is Grandparents at St Mary's Cemetary in St. Bernard, Ohio
