Bowman, James Glynn, “Jim”, 73, of Louisville, KY. passed away Wednesday, February 22, 2017.
Jim was a native of Jackson Co., TN. and a member of Prairie Village Church of Christ. He retired after 22 years of service with U. S. Army as 1st cook. He then continued as a cook with civil service at Fort Knox for 8 years.
Preceded in death by his wife, Sandra (Miskell) Bowman.
Survivors include his children, Kenny Bowman (Kathy), Mike Bowman (Sharon), Bill Bowman (Chris) and Amanda Bowman (Josh); four grandchildren; and one step-granddaughter; one great grandchild; a sister, Barbara Faye White (Deuel); a sister-in-law, Karen Miskell; two nieces; a nephew; and several cousins.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway with burial in Bethany Cemetery. Visitation will be 3:00–8:00 P.M. Friday.
