Mary Bovine “Bo” Waldrop Goode, 79, of Tifton went to Heaven to be with our Father on Thursday, February 23, 2017, at her residence. Her funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, February 25, 2017, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with the Rev. Larry Layfield and the Rev. Michael Marchant officiating. Mrs. Goode will be laid to rest at Tift Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Saturday, February 25, 2017, from 2:00 p.m. until the hour of the service in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Mrs. Goode’s nephews and grandson will serve as pallbearers.
Born November 19, 1937 in Tift County, Mrs. Goode was the daughter of the late Henry Washington “Rodge” Waldrop and Ruthie Denham Waldrop. She was a former business owner in Downtown Tifton. She was a beloved wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother and great-grandmother that will be missed more than words could ever express.
Mrs. Goode is survived by her husband, Mitchell Gene Goode of Tifton; her children, Pat and Terry Goode, Roger Goode, Don and Shelly Goode and Chris and Marsha Goode; her siblings, Jerry Waldrop, Bobby Waldrop, Faye Farrell, Betty Sue Evans and Billie Hall; her grandchildren, Brad Goode, Tiffany Auclair, Chelsea Goode, Ali Goode and William Goode; and nine great-grandchildren.
