Kyle R. Cahoon, 56, of Provincetown died Sunday, February 19th after a long illness. He was the husband of David A. Golden.
Born in Falmouth, he was the son of the late Richard and Barbara (Hershey) Cahoon. He graduated from Falmouth High School and attended the University of Massachusetts. He was a longtime landscape contractor.
In addition to his husband of 17 years, he leaves a brother, Mark Cahoon and wife Katherine and a half-brother, Chris Potter, all of Falmouth. Nephews John Miller of Falmouth and Jimmy Miller of Plymouth, as well as great-nephew Asa John Miller and great-niece Stella Miller also survive him. His mother-in -law, Barbara Bradshaw and husband John, of Middletown, RI, brothers-in-law Robert Golden and wife Lisa, Charlie Golden and wife Donna, Michael Golden, as well as sister-in-law Lori Montgomery and husband Asa, along with many nieces and nephews in Rhode Island also survive him. He will also be very much missed by his good friend Robert Kernaghan of Provincetown and Kyle's beloved cat Niko.
He was predeceased by a sister, Linda and brother, Richard Cahoon.
Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Kyle’s Life at 11:00 am on Saturday, March 4th at the Gately Funeral Home, 94 Harry Kemp Way, Provincetown.
