Belmont-------Scott Ian MacKay 47, of Province road died unexpectedly Sunday, February 19, 2017 at his home.
Scott was born July 12, 1969 in Laconia, son to Stewart MacKay and Sandra (Constant) Mynczywor. He worked for many years at Allen Rogers and Robins Auto. Scott also worked for Fluffy's Roast Beef for four years.
Scott enjoyed music, tinkering and working on computers and other various electronics, animals, especially his cats. He enjoyed sports and was a New England Patriots fan. Above all he loved spending time with his family and playing with his grandson Keegan.
Scott is survived by his son, Joshua MacKay of Laconia, his daughter, Kristi MacKay and her significant other, Erik Maltais of Laconia; grandson, Keegan Maltais, his mother, Sandra Mynczywor and her husband Thomas of Alton; a half brother, Shawn MacKay of Franklin; a dear aunt, Sherry Perkins of Belmont; cousins, David and Daniel Perkins and many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his furry companions, his cats, Leo, Bop, Oreo, French and Diamond. In addition to his father he is predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Leander and Ruth Constant.
Calling hours will be held Friday, February 24, 2017 from 6:00- 8:00pm at the Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH using the Carriage House Entrance.
There will be no funeral services.
Burial will be in the family lot at Union Cemetery in the spring.
