CHICOPEE – William H. “Willie” Lecuyer, 33, of Chicopee, was Called Home on Thursday, February 16, 2017. He passed into Eternal Life suddenly at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield surrounded by the care and comfort of his loving family. He was born in Springfield on August 19, 1983, a beloved son of William H. Lecuyer and Susan C. (Martin) Donafrio. He attended Belchertown High School and Pathfinder Regional High School. An avid photographer and outdoorsman, he enjoyed taking nature photographs, hiking, camping and playing his guitar. He was a kind-hearted person who was always trying to help others and giving of himself. Above all, he cherished spending time with his beloved family and many dear friends. He leaves his beloved mother, Susan C. (Martin) Donafrio and her husband, Leonard, with whom he lived in Chicopee; his beloved father, William H. “Willie” Lecuyer and his companion, Suzanne Turgeon, of Belchertown; his loving brother and sister, Jesse J. Rudolph of Forestville, CA and Lindsay L. Laplante and her fiancé, William Cote, of Belchertown; his six cherished nieces, Paige, Cadence, Harper and Avery Laplante and Allison and Laura Cote; and his many dears aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and extended members of the Lecuyer, Martin, Rudolph, Donafrio and Bissonnette families. His funeral will be held on Friday morning, February 24, 2017 beginning at the St. Pierre-Phaneuf Fairview Chapels, 506 Britton Street, Chicopee, MA 01020, (funeral home will open at 8:30 a.m.), followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at Saint Anne Church, 30 College Street, Chicopee, MA 01020. His burial will be private at the convenience of his family. His family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, February 23, 2017 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The parking lot is located in the rear of the funeral home.
