Doreen R. (Voulgaris) Donaldson, 66, of Bellingham died February 18 in the Milford Regional Medical Center following a long illness. She was the wife of James M. Donaldson for the past 46 years.
Born in Boston, September 21,1950, the daughter of the late Charles and Jacqueline (Wernig) Voulgaris, Mrs. Donaldson was raised in Dorchester and had lived in Bellingham since 1976.
Doreen was a graduate of Dorchester High School and Northeastern University.
She had been a Chemistry Laboratory Technician at Mount Auburn Hospital from 1970-1996.
Doreen enjoyed movies and spending quality times with her children, grandchildren and friends.
In addition to her husband she is survived by her daughters Charlene McDonald and her husband James of Bellingham and Kimberly Donaldson of Dorchester.
She is also survived by her grandchildren, Cameron and Madison McDonald.
Her funeral will be held on Friday, February 24 from the Ginley Crowley Funeral Home (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com) 3 Barber Street, Medway at 9:00 followed by a funeral mass in St. Brendan’s Church at 10:00. Burial will be private.
Calling hours will be on Thursday from 4-8 p.m.
