Obituary



Lillian Ann (LaBute) Boyan, 92 of Milford formerly of Medway and Mashpee, died February 18 in the Genesis-Milford Center. She was the wife of the late Walter W. Boyan who died in 1993.

Born in Dedham, April 2,1924, the daughter of the late Eugene and Bernadene (Pommiek) LaBute, Mrs. Boyan was raised in Dedham and Mashpee. She had lived in Medway for over 25 years before moving to Milford 5 years ago.

Lillian had been a home health aide for over 15 years before retiring.

She enjoyed playing bingo, trips to Foxwoods, where she loved to play the slot machines, and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her children, William Boyan of Millville, Thomas Boyan of Medway, James Boyan of Franklin and Paul Boyan of Holden.

She is also survived by her brother Gerard LaBute of Mashpee and was the sister of the late Andrew and Henry LaBute and Joan Martini and Helen Whooten.

Lillian is also survived by her 9 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

Her funeral will be held on Saturday, February 25 from the Ginley Crowley Funeral Home (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com) 3 Barber Street, Medway at 9:15 followed by a funeral mass in St. Joseph Church at 10:00.

Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.

Calling hours will be on Friday from 4-8 p.m.

In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may be made in her memory to the Activaties Fund of Genesis-Milford Center, 10 Veterans Memorial Drive, Milford, MA 01757.
