Alice R. (Jacques) Rose age 87 of Rehoboth, passed away on February 17, 2017 at Kimwell Rehabilitation & Skilled Nursing Center in Fall River.
She was the beloved wife of the late Lester R. Rose.
Born in Taunton, Alice was the daughter of the late Joseph and Celeste (Marrotte) Jacques.
Before retirement in 1992, Mrs. Rose was employed with Ad-A-Day, Inc for over 19 years. Alice was a volunteer with the Rehoboth Council on Aging with Meals on Wheels.
She was the loving mother of Brenda Hughes of Brockton and the late Linda Fontaine. Grandmother of 4, great-grandmother of 8. She was the sister of Louise Drake of Taunton and sister of the late Henry Jacques, Sylina Rodriques, Alfred Jacques, Emile Jacques, Edna Francis and Dora Ashley.
Her funeral will be held on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at 8:45 am from the Silva Funeral Home 80 Broadway (at Saint Mary’s Square) in Taunton, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in Saint Nicholas of Myra Church, Spring St, North Dighton.
Interment will be held privately in Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne MA.
