Phyllis L. Wilkinson, 88

Phyllis L. (Finch) Wilkinson, age 88, of Fall River, formerly of Falmouth and North Raynham, passed away on Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River. She was the beloved wife of the late William E. Wilkinson who died on August 8, 2000.
Born in Raynham, MA on October 8, 1928, she was a loving daughter of the late Lewis E. and Adaline M. (Atwood) Finch.
Phyllis grew up and was educated in North Raynham, and was a graduate of Taunton High School. Prior to retiring, she was employed as a utility worker at the Rand McNally Book Binding Co. in Taunton for twenty-six years.
Phyllis had made her home in Fall River and was a former resident of Falmouth and longtime resident of North Raynham. She loved spending time with her adoring family and her hobbies included yodeling, listening to country western music and watching her favorite television show “Judge Judy”.
She is survived by her devoted children Sandra Jenssen of Texas, Sharon Brennan and her husband Henry of Taunton, Patti Mota and her husband John of Taunton, William Wilkinson of Florida, Judith Silva of East Falmouth, Dayle Wilkinson and her wife Rachel of Brockton, Kevin Wilkinson of Fall River, and the late Dennis Wilkinson and the late James Wilkinson. She was the dear sister of the late Adaline “Tootsie” Maxim and Gwendolyn “Babe” Wilson, and is also survived by her cherished 15 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend visiting hours on Friday, February 24th from 4:00-6:00 P.M. at the Taunton Funeral Home, 8 Crapo Street (Off Route 140, Tremont Street) Taunton. Burial will be held privately at the Pleasant Street Cemetery in Raynham.
In lieu of flowers, Phyllis’s family would prefer that donations in her memory be made to the National Kidney Foundation, 85 Astor Avenue, Norwood, MA 02062.
