Allan Wesley LeMay died Friday, February 10, 2017 at West Roxbury, Va. Hospital. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Linda Ann Brown LeMay, his son Mark LeMay; two daughters, Shelly Yates and Brenda LeMay, their husbands, Jon Yates and Kimmo Meronen; grandchildren, Ashley LeMay, Amanda and Justin Yates. He is also survived by his two brothers, his cousins, his nephews and their children. Allan was born in Haverhill in October 1939 and raised in North. Salem N.H. He is the son of Alphonse and Beulah LeMay. As a child he raised chickens with his father. He graduated from Woodbury High School in 1957, and attended Keene State College. He then joined the Navy in 1958 and spent two years in Spain. He left the Navy in 1962 and attended Lowell Technical Institute, where he met his wife that during that time. They were married on April 23, 1966 at Calvary Baptist Church in Lowell Massachusetts. Allan was in home construction for many years over New England. His mother died in 1985 at which time he moved to Vermont and built many houses. His hobbies were: fishing, hunting, gardening and enjoyed the outdoors. He is loved by many!
