In Taunton, February 14, 2017 Elizabeth “Betty” J. (Zucco) Tipping, age 83, passed away in Morton Hospital following a brief illness with her loving family by her side. She is survived by her beloved husband Howard Tipping of Raynham. She was born in Winchester, MA, the daughter of the late John & Marquerite (Grau) Zucco. Betty had resided in Raynham most of her life. She was a graduate of Taunton High School. Betty was employed as a clerk treasurer for the North Raynham Water District for 26 years. Betty was a member of the Raynham Historical Society. She enjoyed gardening, reading, bird watching and walking with her best friend Jan. Above all Betty cherished her time with family, especially her grandchildren and great grandson. In addition to her husband, Betty is survived by her children, Keith Tipping and his companion Andrea Cote of Taunton, David C. Tipping and his wife Ann of Bourne, Glenn Tipping and his wife Anita of Taunton and Beth Barstad and her husband Leon of Raynham. She also leaves her siblings, Thomas Zucco and his wife Joyce of Plymouth, Marilyn Lakin of Buzzards Bay and the late John Zucco. Betty also leaves her grandchildren, Kelcie Tipping of Taunton, Kasey Tipping of Somerville, Bailey and Christopher Barstad of Raynham and her great grandson Manuel Anacleto. Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours on Sunday from 3-6 pm. at the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington St., Taunton, MA 02780. A funeral home service will be held on Monday, February, 20th at 11 am. Burial will be private.
