Marie Anna Giddens, at the age of 83, passed on Thursday, January 26, 2017 in her home with her daughter by her side.
Memorial services will be held at 1 pm, Saturday, February 25, 2017, at The Paulk Funeral Home in
Fitzgerald with the Rev. Ronny Griner officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-8 Friday evening, February 24th at the funeral home.
Marie was born January 27, 1934 in Queens, New York. She was the youngest of 3 children
Marie married the late Jack Giddens in 1957 and the family moved to Fitzgerald in the 1960's. In the early 1970s, the family moved to Jacksonville, FL. Marie was a Homemaker, taking care of her late husband and daughter most of her entire life. She loved spending time with her family, grandchildren, great grandchildren, relatives and friends. She loved to laugh and smile. Most of all she was a loving caring, devoted wife, mother & grandmother.
Marie leaves to cherish her loving memory her daughter Brenda Murgatroyd, 2 granddaughters Shannon Lamb and Jennifer Faircloth, 9 great grandchildren, a sister, Rita Davis, as well as nieces, nephews and friends.
