Doris D. (Morin) Flynn, 93, of Worcester, passed away surrounded by her children and grandchildren on Monday, February 13th in UMass Memorial Hospital. Her husband of 29 years, Thomas P. Flynn, died in 1983. She leaves three sons, John M. Flynn and his wife Sharon of Hillsboro, OR, Paul G. Flynn and his wife Kim of Worcester, and Thomas P. Flynn and his wife Laura of Worcester; two daughters, Donna J. Forgues and her husband Glenn of Gorham, ME, and Patricia A. Long and her husband William of Auburn; twelve grandchildren, Sarah, Kevin, Dennis, Ryan, Frank, Thomas, Steven, Rachael, Elizabeth, Tiffany, Emily and Bridget; six great grandchildren; nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by her siblings, Richard and Alfred Morin, Alice Lareau, and Jean Zaido.
She was born in Worcester, the daughter of Romeo and Donalda (Bergeron) Morin and graduated from David Hale Fanning Girls Trade School. Mrs. Flynn was a member of Our Lady of the Angels Parish in Worcester and St. Joseph's Parish in Auburn. She liked traveling, but her favorite times were those spent with her grandchildren and attending their sporting and music events. She loved cooking for her family.
Calling hours are Thursday, February 16th from 4:00 until 7:00 P.M. in O'CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue. Her funeral service and burial in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton, will be held privately.
