Mrs. Anna Hope (Evangelos) Foster, 92, a life-long resident of North Andover, Massachusetts passed away on Sunday, February 12, 2017 peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in North Andover, Massachusetts on October 24th, 1924, daughter of the late Dennis D. and Antigoni (Quafzezi) Evangelos. Anna was educated in North Andover and was a graduate of Johnson High School in 1942.
Anna worked as a Secretary/Clerk for Arlington Mills, the Town of North Andover, Rent Control Board, Planning Board, Arnold H. Salisbury, Esq & Town Counsel, the Building Department and in 1986 retired from the town of North Andover, Massachusetts. She also held her Notary Public and Justice of the Peace for the State of Massachusetts.
Anna was a member of the Personnel Board, Town of North Andover, as employee representative and Mass. Justices of the Peace Association, and the North Andover Woman's Club.
Anna had many passionate hobbies, traveling, crocheting, and knitting, she was the most talented seamstress, she made all her children's clothing. Anna loved spending cherished time with her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and beloved friends. She was most known for her love of playing 45's card game with anyone who could play, and if they didn't know how she would teach them.
Anna and Charlie both loved spending winters at their winter home in Bradenton, FL., where she had many friends and belonged to several activity clubs at the park.

Anna's family members include her four children Hope Howden of Pittsfield, NH, Theresa Rinaldi, Denise Call and her husband Douglas and Robert Donahue all of North Andover, MA.
8 Grandchildren: Lynn White, Rebecca Mokos, Paul Rinaldi, Michael Rinaldi, Brenna Novak, Liana Rinaldi, Tyler Call and Melissa Bovello. Her 12 Great Grandchildren: Shelby Waldie, Zackary Novak, Justin Rinaldi and Jacob Rinaldi, Georgina Hewitt, Veronica Rinaldi, Eryka Rinaldi, P. J. Ouellette, Duncan White, Aiden White, Sam Mokos and Lily Mokos. 1 Great Great Grandson Isaac Rodriguez. As well as several nieces and nephews.
Anna was predeceased by her 5 brothers Lewis, Filip, James, Peter and Nicholas Evangelos.
Relatives and friends may call on Friday, February 17th, 2017 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the John Breen Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 35 Merrimack Street, North Andover, MA. Her funeral service will take place on Saturday, February 18th, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Ridgewood Cemetery in North Andover, MA.
