SWANSEA – Richard M. Dantino, age 75 of Swansea, passed away on Monday, Feb. 13, 2017 at Charlton Memorial Hospital with his loving family by his side. He was the beloved husband of Cynthia A. (Suspiro) Dantino, and the son of the late Michael & Josephine (Porro) Dantino. He was a US Navy Veteran of the Vietnam War, having served on the Aircraft Carrier USS Lake Champlain.
Richard was a parishioner of St. Francis of Assisi Church, and an avid Boston Red Sox Fan & New England Patriots Fan. He loved to read & write poetry and loved to be by the water.
In addition to his beloved wife, survivors include his Children: Sherri Lynne Silva of Fall River and Bradford Matthew Dantino (his wife Donna) of Swansea; his Grandchildren: Riley Pavao, Adrian Dantino, & Nathan Sousa; 2 Nieces. He was the Brother of the late Rosemary Dantino and the Son in Law of the late Manuel C. & the late Lena O. Suspiro.
