Doris Elaine Belcher (Tipton), 71, entered into God’s kingdom peacefully on Saturday, February 11th, at the home of her son and daughter-in-law in the arms of loved ones after a battle with cancer. Doris will always be remembered by her family, friends, and former co-workers for her kind spirit and loving personality. Left to cherish her memory and carry on her legacy are her children, Heather (Jimmy) Terrell, Parker Mullins, and Ricky (Carolyn) Belcher and twelve grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mamie (Kapple) Tipton and her father, Everett Tipton, as well as her granddaughter, Aerial. Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 16th, 2017 from 1 p.m.-5 p.m. with the memorial service to follow at 5 p.m. at Owen Funeral Home located at 5317 Dixie Hwy in Louisville, KY.
