SPENCER: Mark A. Sweet, 45, of Greenville St., passed peacefully Saturday, Feb. 11 surrounded by family at his home after a long illness.
He leaves his longtime companion Helen "Angel" Moe with whom he lived and her family; Richard St. Francis and his wife Nancy of Spencer, Kelly Lape and her husband Terry of Ariz. and Danielle Gebo and her husband Ronald of Spencer and 7 step grandchildren, his parents James D. and Lucille I. (Arsenault) Sweet, Sr. of Warren, MA; his sisters Brenda D. Quintal and her husband Rodney of Ware, MA; and Michelle R. Grant and her husband Robin of Colchester, CT; his brothers James D. Sweet, Jr. and his wife Amy of Panama City, FL; and Glenn O. Sweet and his husband Scott Mackin of Colchester, CT; several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his nephew Michael Fraizer.
Mark was a longtime CB radio enthusiast who went by the handle "medicine man". He enjoyed painting, woodworking, fishing and making bird houses.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, Feb. 18 at Noon in the J. HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terrace, Spencer. A calling hour will precede the service from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. A graveside burial service at Mary, Queen of the Rosary Cemetery in Spencer will be held in the Spring.
