Worcester, MA - Donna M. (McClure) Lajoie, 55, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 10, 2017 in the Rose Monahan Hospice Home after a long illness. She leaves a brother David McClure; an uncle George Ahigian and his wife Freda of Nevada; a special aunt and friend Sylvia Luksha of Sterling; many close and caring friends including Ellie Luksha; and several cousins. She was predeceased by her twin sister Debra McClure.
Donna was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Clay and Shirley (Ahigian) McClure. She graduated from Burncoat High School and Worcester State University. Donna moved to Washington state, where she lived in Seattle and Spokane for almost 30 years. She worked as a mortgage and loan officer for Eagle Mortgage Company, retiring in 2010 due to illness. Donna enjoyed fine dining, going to the casino, and listening to Carole King music. Special thanks to Debbie, Lynn, Melissa, and the entire staff at Rose Monahan Hospice for their compassionate care of Donna throughout her illness.
