Mark A. Taliceo, age 59, passed away on Feb. 5, 2017 at Umass Memorial Hospital surrounded by family and close friends. A lifelong resident of Chicopee; born on Jan. 8, 1958 in Springfield, a son of the late John Taliceo and Carol, Brattleboro, VT and Susan (LaDuke) Taliceo and Mike, Chicopee. Mark worked as a general contractor for Diversified Construction in Belchertown for many years and always went out of his way to help family and friends with their projects. He leaves his life companion Patricia Fontaine of Brattleboro, VT; his brother John Taliceo and Teri of Shrewsbury; 2 sisters Tina Taliceo and Allen of Chicopee and Rebecca Taliceo of Somers, CT; along with his daughter and grandchildren he leaves behind a large and loving extended family. He is predeceased by 1 sister Lisa Taliceo and 1 grandson; calling hours will be held on Sun., Feb.12, 2017 from 2:00-5:00 p.m at the Grise Funeral Home, 280 Springfield St, Chicopee. A funeral service for family members will be held on Mon. Feb. 13, 2017 at 10 a.m. Followed by an in house prayer service at 11 a.m. Burial will take place in St Patricks Cemetery, Chicopee. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Crohns and Colitis Foundation of America or The Arthritis Foundation.
