William L. “Bill” Lindsey
Loving Husband, Father and Papa

TEWKSBURY: William L. Lindsey, age 73, of Tewksbury, MA, died February 9, 2017 at the Bedford VA Hospice unit due to declining health.

Bill served in the United States Marine Corp in the Vietnam War.

He was born in Topeka, Kansas to the late Francis and Thelma Lindsey.

Before retirement he worked for Veryfine Products for over 35 years.

He served as a member of the Tewksbury Board of Health for many years.

Bill was a current member of Wamesit Masonic Lodge A.F. & A.M. and was the Grand Master in 1996.

He was a member of Tewksbury United Methodist Church for over 40 years. In addition, he was a member of the Tewksbury D.A.V. Post # 110.

Besides his loving wife of 47 years, Christine, he leaves his children, Bob Mallett, Tammy Costa, Laurie Lindsey and Joe Lindsey. He is also survived by his siblings and spouses, Edward and Yvonne Lindsey, MA, Mary Cummings of CA, Paul Lindsey, CA, Marvin and Cindy Lindsey, TN, Randy and Cheryl Lindsey , WA. His Loving grandchildren Darren, Deeanna, Kevin, Kaitlyn and Jacob.

After retiring his favorite thing to do was go up to our New Hampshire home and take everyone out on his pontoon boat. He loved Lake Winnipesaukee and doing things with the grandkids.

Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects on Sunday, Feb 12, 2017, from 3 to 7pm., at Farmer and Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee Street, Tewksbury. Funeral Services will be held Monday, Feb 13, at 9:30 am at the Tewksbury United Methodist Church, 2335 Main St., Rte. 38, Tewksbury. (All attending are asked to meet at church). In lieu of flowers donations in his name may be made to Veteran’s Administration, Building 4 Hospice Unit, 200 Springs Road, Bedford MA 01730.
