Michael Steven Santee, 46, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, passed away quietly Wednesday, February 8, 2017, at Coliseum Park Hospital, in Macon, Georgia, surrounded by his family.
Memorial services will be held 2 PM, Saturday, February 18, 2017, at the First Assembly of God in Fitzgerald. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Mr. Santee was born August 21, 1970, in Fitzgerald, Georgia, to Linda Perdue of Eastman and the late Donald Santee. He was an employee of the Ben Hill County Tax office for many years. He had a wonderful sense of humor and loved his family very much. Mr. Santee loved southern gospel music and could sing quite well.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by a sister and brother-in-law, Melanie and George McCook of Chester; nephews: Tyler Santee and Mac McCook; aunts: Sudie Perdue and Joann Rowe; cousins: Nathan Perdue, Brent Perdue, Susan Vaughn, Sandy King and Jimmy Rowe; and an uncle, Steven Santee. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Donnie Santee, Jr., grandparents: Mr. & Mrs. Charles Perdue and Donald R. Santee & Harriet Santee, uncles Mark Perdue and Robert Rowe.
