Phyllis Jenkins Horne, 56, beloved wife of Jeff Horne, entered into rest on Monday, February 6, 2017 at her residence.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, February 12, 2017 at Wesley United Methodist Church with the Rev. Greg Porterfield officiating. The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday evening, February 11, from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.
Mrs. Horne was an Application Architect at Augusta University Medical Center. She was a member at Wesley UMC, where she was a long-time Sunday school teacher and active in church missions. She had a strong love for the people of Honduras, where she taught the ladies to crochet and led Vacation Bible School for the children.
In addition to her husband, Jeff, she is survived by her two daughters, Carolyn and Emily, son in law, Daniel Amrhein, father, Charles Jenkins and brother, Mark Jenkins.
