Edward L. Horvath, age 52, was born January 25, 1965 in Dayton, Ohio. He departed his earthly life in Mystic, Connecticut for eternal life in Heaven on February 3, 2017.
He was a graduate of Brookville High School, Class of 1983. He is survived by his parents Roy and Patricia (Hickey) Horvath of Brookville, his wife of 18 years, Lesley (White), 2 daughters Nellie, Mary Bridget,1 son, Philip, brothers James Harper, Joseph, Douglas, sisters Laura Ernst, Sharon Horvath, Molly Carlson and Elizabeth Custer. He is also survived by 20 nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
He was a gentle and kind person always ready and willing to help others. He developed his many skills in carpentry, construction, road maintenance, building maintenance, boat building, EMT, volunteer fireman and Village Administration while living on Cranberry Island and Somesville in Maine.
