Ann Patricia Keegan, 77, a resident of South Lawrence, MA, died on Sunday, February 5, 2017 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Lawrence. Ann was a graduate of St. Patrick’s Grammar School and a 1956 graduate of St. Patrick’s High School in Lawrence. Ann was retired from New England Telephone where she had worked for some 38 years. She had worked in the Lawrence, Haverhill/Plaistow, NH, Malden and Boston offices. She then went to work for H&R Block where she had worked as a Tax Preparer. Ann enjoyed traveling all over the world where she would visit her late sister. She traveled to Germany, Switzerland and Africa. Ann was a member of the Quota Club, The Mount Vernon Associates and the Ladies Sodality of St. Patrick’s Church which she was a parishioner.
The daughter of the late Bernard C. and Theresa Bridget (Murphy) Keegan, Ann is survived by her Brother Bernard C. Keegan and his wife Lucille of Methuen, four nephews: Michael Keegan and his wife Martha, Patrick Keegan, James Keegan and his wife Kara all of Methuen as well as Stephen Keegan and his wife Pricilla all of Derry, NH. Ann is also survived by three great nephews, two great nieces, and her friend and caretaker Jean Blanchard Wester. She was the sister of the late Mary T Keegan and the Aunt of the late Cheryl Holzman.
A funeral mass will be celebrated on at 11:00 A.M. in St. Patrick’s Church, 118 South Broadway, Lawrence, MA. Burial will follow in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery also in Lawrence, MA. Relatives and friends are invited to call prior to the funeral mass on Friday morning from 9 to 10:30 A.M. at the John Breen Memorial Funeral Home Inc., 122 Amesbury St., Lawrence, MA.
