John Daniel Pennella, husband of Lynne Bland Pennella, died January 19, 2017, as a result of his injuries after being struck by a car while crossing the street.
John grew up in Old Lyme, CT, and worked for many years at Dominion Power in Waterford, before moving to Florida with his family.
John was predeceased by his mother, Joan M. Pennella.
John will be remembered as a loving husband and father, a good friend, for his love of political conversations, and for his ability and willingness to fix anything for anyone.
He will be sadly missed by his wife Lynne, father Daniel Pennella, stepmother Arlene Pennella, children Danielle, Matthew, Johnais, and John (Jr.) Pennella, stepchildren Amanda Swart, Samantha Delmas, Andrevia Chadwick, and Vetrell Chadwick, as well as his sister, Susan Steady (Brian), stepsister Kristen Morrison, stepbrother Eric Leander, and many nephews, nieces, and cousins.
A private service was held in Ocala, Florida.
