Edward H. Torres Jr., age 65 of Taunton, passed away on February 3, 2017 at his home.
Ed was born in Taunton, son of the late Edward and Mary (Victurine) Torres, Sr.
Ed received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. He was employed with Gordons Food Service for the past 27 years.
He enjoyed traveling, car shows, kayaking, cycling, yoga, working in his yard, and spending time with his family and friends.
Ed is survived by a sister Claire Bisio and her fiancee Don Bohlken of East Falmouth, four brothers, Kenneth Torres and wife Jeannine of No. Dighton, James Torres and wife Robbyn of Raynham, Robert Torres and wife Marian Passmore of Cocoa Beach, FL. and Richard Torres and Jeanne of Taunton. He is also survived by several nieces & nephews and a great niece and nephews.
Visiting hours will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2017 from 2 to 5pm in the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway (at Saint Mary's Square) in Taunton.
Burial will be held privately.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts in Ed's memory made to a charity of one's choice, would be deeply appreciated.
