TEWKSBURY - Mrs. Isabelle “Marge” M. (Sandmann) DeRosa, age 92, died Friday evening, February 3, at the Merrimack Valley Hospice in Haverhill, after long period of declining health, in the loving care of her family and dedicated staff. She was the wife of Vincent P. DeRosa, who died in 2004.
She was born in Boston, in May 1924, the daughter of the late Karl and Clara (MacWilliams) Sandman. She and her late husband moved to Tewksbury in 1954 to raise their family, where she was a member of the St. William’s Parish community.
While Isabelle devoted her life to her family, she had also worked in assembly at Wang Laboratories North Street facility for several years.
She is survived by three children, Patricia Beaulieu of Tewksbury, Susan Surette and her husband Peter of Pelham, NH, and Philip DeRosa of Wrentham; two grandchildren, Justin Beaulieu and Nicole Ashley and her husband Brandon; one great grandchild, Logan T. Ashley, a sister-in-law, Gladys Sandmann of Tewksbury; and was predeceased by her daughter, Elaine Collins; son-in-law, Robert Winters; and brother Karl Sandmann.
A private Memorial Graveside Service will be held Friday, February 10, at 1:00 p.m. in the Tewksbury Cemetery, 172 East Street, Tewksbury. Kindly omit flowers.
