SOMERSET – Virginia “Ginny” (Bebble) Borges, age 90 of Somerset, passed away on Friday, Feb. 3, 2017 surrounded by her loving family by her side. She was the wife of the late Joseph C. Borges and the daughter of the late George H. & Gertrude (Antes) Bebble. Prior to retiring, Virginia worked as a Registered Nurse at Charlton Memorial Hospital & the American Red Cross. She was a parishioner of St. John of God Church, and a member of the “Daughters of Isabella”. She enjoyed reading and attending the theater.
She is survived by her Children: Thomas Borges, Mary Claire Guerra, Richard Borges, & the late Kathleen Ann Jette; Siblings: Richard Bebble, Jean Liddy, the late Elizabeth J. Oliveira & the late Kathryn Crane; 7 Grandchildren; 4 great Grandchildren; several nieces & nephews.
Her funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, Inc. 1521 N. Main St. Fall River on Tuesday at 9:00 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. John of God Church at 10:00 A.M. Cremation to follow. Calling hours on Monday from 5-7 P.M. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
