Theresa E. (Sheehan) Teehan, 77 of Abington died on February 2nd at home with her family, after a lengthy battle with cancer. She was the wife of the late Thomas J. Teehan for 47 years.
Theresa was born in Boston, daughter of the late Frederick and Lillian (Radcliffe) Sheehan.
She is survived by her 6 children, Ellen, Joseph, Thomas, June-Marie, Christine and Russell, 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; also her siblings Lillian Curran, Marion Plant (late), Geraldine Garney (late), Frederick Sheehan, Edward Sheehan (late), Lorraine Reardon (late), Paul Sheehan, Joseph Sheehan, Russell Sheehan (late), Donald Sheehan, her daughter-in-law Chris O’Connor-Teehan, son-in-law John Kearney; as well as many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
Her funeral services will be held on Thursday February 9 at 8:15 AM from the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth Street (Rte. 58 at the rotary circle) Whitman, followed by a funeral mass at 9:00 AM in the St Bridget Church, Abington. Visiting hours will be on Wednesday February 8 from 4:00-8:00 PM. Burial will take place Monday February 13 at 10:00 AM in the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne.
