Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on February 2, 2017. Preceded in death by parents Herman & Lena Atchison. Survived by loving husband of 66 years, John; children Tom (Kathy), Doug (Cindy), Diane (Joseph) Gerwood, Scott, Todd (Jodi); 10 grandchildren; 12+ great grandchildren; brother Jack (Doreen) Atchison; sister Linda (Clair) Atchison. Dee was a graduate of Century College & the U of M with a Bachelor of Fine Arts, with honors. She enjoyed their 23 years of retirement at the lake, spending time with her family, keeping up with her grandchildren on Facebook, painting & photography. Funeral service Monday (2/6) 11:00 AM at CHRIST EV. LUTHERAN CHURCH, 2475 E. 17th Ave., North St. Paul, with visitation one hour prior to service. Interment Evergreen Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Christ Ev. Lutheran Church.
