GARCIA, Oscar M., 60, of Louisville, passed away January 30, 2017.
Oscar had worked for many years as a Picture Framer for Bluegrass Frames. His first love was fishing. He told his wife she was the best catch of his life. Oscar embraced his loud in-laws, making him a prince in their eyes.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Esperanza and Ramon Garcia; nephew, Tony; and the Sassy Cat.
Oscar is survived by his wife, Marybeth Garcia; brothers, Juan (Donna) and Ben (Helen) Garcia; and sisters, Maria Strimbu (Tom), Rosemary Hooker (Robert), Maria Garcia, Rachel Bridgewaters (Mike), and Gloria Dacey (Bob); and nieces and nephews, Bryan, Chris, Benny, Sean, Dan, Kaytee, Robert, Alex, James, and Shannon. He also loved his furry family, Romeo, Lucy, Tank, and Stella.
Visitation will be 2-7pm Friday at Owen Funeral Home – Jeffersontown, 9318 Taylorsville Road, with service to follow at 7pm.
