CHICOPEE – Beverly M. (Shepard) Biondi, 86, of the Fairview section of Chicopee, was Called Safely Home on Friday, January 27, 2017. She passed into Eternal Life at Willimansett Center West in Chicopee surrounded by all the memories she loved and cherished. She was born in Berlin, VT on April 5, 1930, a beloved daughter of the late Arthur R. and Emogene (Lavanway) Shepard. She was raised and attended schools in Berlin and had lived in Vermont before moving to Chicopee in 1955. She was employed as a Certified Nurse Aide in various area nursing homes. She was a communicant of the former Holy Name Church and currently was a communicant of Saint Anne Church in Chicopee. Above all, Beverly enjoyed spending time with her family and her many friends. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Dario J. Biondi who was Called Home on May 20, 1997; and her loving daughter, Nancy A. Biondi. She leaves her four loving children, Gary W. Locklin and his wife, Carol, of New Mexico, Sandra M. Biondi of West Springfield and Frances E. Davidson and Michael D. Biondi, both of Chicopee; her seven cherished grandchildren; her cherished great-grandson; and her many dear extended family members and friends. At Beverly’s request, her funeral and burial will be private. Her arrangements are entrusted to the St. Pierre-Phaneuf Fairview Chapels, (413-533-3307), 506 Britton Street, Chicopee, MA 01020.
