Belmont---Evelyn B. Spaulding, 76, of Belmont NHand former resident of Goffstown NH, died Sunday, January 29, 2017 at Belknap County Nursing Home surrounded by her loving family.
Evelyn was born September 30, 1940 in Lewiston, Maine daughter to the late Curtis and Rosellen (Small) Winslow. After high school she went to school in Boston and later moved to New Hampshire with her husband. She worked for many years for the Goffstown High School. She was an active member of the First Baptist Church in Goffstown.
Evelyn enjoyed gardening, camping, collecting rocks for her flower gardens and traveling with her family and husband. After retirement she and her beloved husband traveled across the Unites Stated in a RV. They also went on several trips out of the country, always bringing special rocks home from each trip to add to her gardens. Spending time with her family was very important to her and she enjoyed time with her grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Evelyn is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Larry Spaulding of Belmont; a son, Scott Spaulding and his wife, Nicole of Dunbarton; a daughter, Kelley Spaulding of Belmont; grandchildren, Brandon, Briana, Mariah, Jake and Curtis; two brothers, John Winslow and his wife, Edleen and David Winslow of Texas and her nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she is predeceased by her brother, Dwayne Winslow.
Calling hours will be held Sunday, February 12, 2017 from 10:00am to 12:00pm at the Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH using the Carriage House entrance.
