Joanne M. (Forrester) Holyoke of West Bridgewater went to join her husband Walter “Chick” Holyoke on January 26, 2017. Joanne and Chick are together to watch over their family. She loved to cook, crochet and sew, along with any interesting new crafts. Joanne loved to attend auctions, her birds and her little dogs that kept her company. She drove a school bus while her youngest son was in school; and later worked many years for Dial-A-Bat. She was loved dearly, and will be missed by many.
Joanne is survived by her children John and Robert Holyoke of Middleboro, Joyce Relleva of Hanson, Sandra Maxim and Leslye (Bugbee) Iverson of FL, Martin Packard, of Brockton, Susann Gallagher of Stoughton, Brenda Holyoke of Troy NY, Jodi Florio and Cheryl Proude of Taunton, Kamala Rowell of Easton and Walter E. Holyoke, Jr of Bridgewater; along with their spouses and companions. Her siblings David Forrester, and his wife Merry of Bridgewater, Evelyn Lovering and her husband Jack and Anne Bugbee all of Brockton. Her many many grand and great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Joanne was also predeceased by her sons Lawrence and Ronald Holyoke and daughter Anne Foster.
Following cremation, visiting hours will be held in the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Wednesday February 1, 5 to 7 pm, immediately followed by a funeral home service. Committal of Joanne’s ashes will be in Pine Hill Cemetery West Bridgewater on Thursday February 2, at 10am, where she will be buried next to her husband “Chick”
