Brown, Patricia “Pat” entered the presence of her Savior, Jesus Christ, on Sunday, January 29, 2017.
She was born in Louisville on May 22, 1936 to Harold and Mildred Short.
Pat was a member of Ormsby Heights Baptist Church, where she joyfully served as an organist for over 60 years. She joined Ormsby Avenue Baptist Church as a child, and began playing the organ there at the age of 15. She was a devoted and talented musician that led many to worship through her beautiful music. Pat retired from PNC Bank in 2007. She began working at Louisville Home Federal as an 18 year old H.S. Senior. After mergers to Future Federal, Citizens, and finally PNC Bank, she had amassed over 60 years of loyal service. Pat loved her Lord and her family.
She is predeceased by her parents; her loving husband, Darrell Brown, an infant daughter, and an infant son.
She is survived by her daughter, Sharon Murphy (Tom); sons, Bryan, Randy, Coy and Aaron (Carley) Brown; grandchildren, Nickole, Darrell, Daniel, Amanda, Johathan, Patricia, Tyler, and Makayla; great-grandchildren, Bryson, Logan, Tatum, Reese, Noah, Addliyn, Quinn and Titus; a sister, Betty J. Pfuelb; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Friday at 12:00PM at Ormsby Heights Baptist Church, 2120 Lower Hunters Trace.
Burial is in Louisville Memorial Gardens, West.
Visitation is Wednesday 4:00-8:00PM, and Thursday 11:00-8:00PM, at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway, and also 11:00-12:00 Friday at Church.
