Kathleen M. (Preston) Chabot, 94, of Worcester, passed away Saturday, January 21st in the Lutheran Home. Her husband of 56 years, Paul O. Chabot, died in 2003. She leaves a son, Robert J. Chabot and his wife Elizabeth of Worcester; seven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; nephew and nieces; and her close friends, Kathy Burke and Carol Doyle. She was predeceased by her son, Paul J. Chabot in 2011, and her brothers, Fr. James F. Preston, John P. Preston, and Joseph C. Preston.
She was born in Worcester, the daughter of James F. and Mary F. (Mason) Preston and graduated from Ascension High School and Regis College. Kathleen was a member of Blessed Sacrament Parish.
Mrs. Chabot's family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the staff of Summit Eldercare, especially Pam, for the care Kathleen received from them.
Her funeral will be held Wednesday, January 25th with a Mass at 11:00 A.M. in Blessed Sacrament Church, 555 Pleasant Street. Please go directly to church. Burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
