Patricia J (Reed) Lynch, 79, of Northborough and formerly of Natick died Sunday January 29, 2017 at the U Mass Medical Center in Worcester.
She was the beloved wife of the late Clarence S Lynch who died in 2010.
Mrs. Lynch was raised in Grand Blanc Michigan and started her working career as bookkeeper at Apple Gate Chevrolet in Grand Blanc. After she and Clarence moved to Natick in 1966, she became the Librarian at Cole School in West Natick, worked at the former Caldor Department Store, and retired after working at R.W. Beck for 20 years.
She enjoyed the arts, music, travel, and was an accomplished poetry writer having one poem published. She loved nature and its animals, crocheting and crossword puzzles.
She was the devoted mother of Susan Lynch Clancy and her fiancé Timothy Hines of Franklin, Bradley C Lynch and his wife Marcia of Athol, David W Lynch and his wife Ann of Shrewsbury, stepmother of Valarie Klingenberg of CA and the late Kathy Lieb, dear sister of Michael Reed and his wife Kay of Grand Blanc MI, the late Timothy Reed and his late partner Art, the late Joanne Mumah and her late husband Harvey.
She was the cherished grandmother of Patrick Clancy and his wife Janet, Ryan Clancy, Jennifer Lynch, Kyle Lynch and great–grandmother of Aiden Clancy.
She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Thursday February 2 from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. in the John Everett and Sons Funeral Home 4 Park Street, at Natick Common.
Graveside Service on Friday at 1:30 P.M. at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.
