Monica Ann (Brochu) Douton of Norwich, CT, passed away Saturday, January 28, 2017. She was born in New London, CT on February 20, 1963. She is survived by her husband Jamie, three sons, Jamie, Sean, and Nicholas and his son Jaxson, her mother Phyllis, brother Dan, Sister Tammy, and five nieces and seven nephews.
Monica graduated from Ledyard High School in 1981. Her most recent job was working for a doctor's office in East Lyme as a medical assistant, a job she loved. She was an active member of the Groton Elks and donated generously in every way possible. Her greatest joy in life was her precious grandson Jaxson. The also greatly enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She will be sadly missed by everyone who was lucky enough to know her.
Monica's family will greet relatives and friends on Thursday, February 2, 2017 from 3:00 to 5:00pm at the Dinoto Funeral Home, 17 Pearl Street, Mystic.
