Wayne F. Tetrault, 79, of New Bedford died January 28, 2017 peacefully at Bedford Gardens Nursing Home.
He was the husband of Yvonne C. (Patnaude) Tetrault.
Born in New Bedford, the son of the late Norman G. and Mary Jesse (Langford) Tetrault, he lived in New Bedford all of his life.
Mr. Tetrault was formerly employed at several local fish houses for many years until his retirement.
He served in the U.S. Navy.
Mr. Tetrault enjoyed fishing.
Survivors include his wife; 3 sons, Kenneth Tetrault of New Bedford, Glen Tetrault of Fall River and Scott Tetrault of Fairhaven; a daughter, Danielle Tetrault of New Bedford; 3 brothers, Norman Tetrault of Margate, FL, Paul Tetrault and Gregory Tetrault, both of New Bedford; 4 sisters, Susan Bryan-Royster of Gloucester, Nancy Rochon of Cumberland, RI, Pamela Silva of Dartmouth and Valerie Fogarty of Worcester; 6 grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
He was the brother of the late Fr. Ralph Tetrault.
His visiting hours will be held on Monday, February 6th from 4-8 PM in the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford. Private burial will be at the Massachusetts National Cemetery.
