Obituary

Mr. James A. Levesque, of Taunton, died unexpectedly Friday, January 27. He was the beloved husband of Lynn (Robbins) Levesque. He was born 63 years ago in Taunton, the son of the late Roger J. and Ormezinda (Lawrence) Levesque. He was educated in Taunton, having graduated from the former Taunton Vocational High School, and had been a lifelong city resident. James was formerly employed as a welder for Space Metal Buildings for 32 years. He was a member of the Easton Rod and Gun Club, the Polish-American Citizens Club, the Italian Naturalization Club, the NRA, and many other fish clubs. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating, vacations in Onset, and was handy around the house and yard.

In addition to his wife, he leaves: 2 sons: Jason Levesque and his companion, Leslie Greeley of Kingston, and Jared Levesque and his companion, Lindsey Meack of Raynham; 1 daughter: Jennifer Levesque and her companion, Diantha Soares of Taunton, 3 brothers: Donald J. Levesque and his wife, Bridget of Taunton, Marc E. Levesque and his wife, Debra of Taunton, and Paul R. Levesque and his wife, Carla of New Hampshire; 4 sisters: Diane M. Collins and her husband, Alan of E. Wareham, Norma J. Marshall of Little Compton, R.I., Betty A. Gordon and her husband, Steven of E. Taunton, and Jean M. Connon and her husband, Jeff of Taunton; 1 granddaughter: Adrienne Levesque, several nieces and nephews, and his dog, Bingo.

Visiting Hours will be held at The Riendeau-Mulvey Funeral Home, 467 Bay Street, on Tuesday, February 7, from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. A Funeral Service will follow the Visitation, Tuesday, at 4:00 P.M. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in his memory may be made to the family.
