David R. Wheatley Jr. 61, of Cass Ave, died Saturday at home. He was born in Seaford, NY, a son of Rita M. (Fleich) Wheatley of Bristol, RI and the late David R. Wheatley Sr. David was a hydraulic upfitter for D.C. Bates in Hopedale, MA for many years.
He was a member of the Providence Northern Model Railroad Club. In addition to his mother, he is survived by a brother, Geoffrey Wheatley of Douglas MA, and a sister, Linda Alegria of Bristol, RI. His funeral will be held Thursday at 10:00 AM from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 99 Cumberland St, Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM in All Saints Church, Rathbun St, Woonsocket. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Bristol, RI. Visiting hours are Wednesday 4-7 PM.
