In Attleboro, January 28, 2017 Eugenie A. (Dufour) Guglielmo, age 88, passed away in Sturdy Hospital following a lengthy battle with Alzheimer’s disease. Eugenie is survived by her loving husband Thomas Guglielmo of Rehoboth. She was born in Taunton, the daughter of the late Eugene & Alice (Guite) Dufour. She had resided in Rehoboth the past 59 years and was formerly of Taunton. She was educated in Taunton schools and was a graduate of St. Mary’s High School. She was employed as a nurse in many local hospitals. Eugenie enjoyed traveling, her pets, and was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, who loved spending time with her family. She also leaves her children Michael Guglielmo of Austin, PA, Paul Guglielmo of Rehoboth and Luanne Guglielmo of Rehoboth and her late son Thomas Guglielmo. She also leaves her late siblings Louise Yelle and Marilyn Chamberlain. Eugenie also leaves her three grandchildren, Melissa and Lauren Guglielmo of PA and Paul Guglielmo Jr. of Rehoboth. Funeral home visiting hours will be held at the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington St., Taunton, MA 02780 on Saturday, February 4th from 8:30- 10 am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Mary’s Church in Taunton at 10:30 am. Burial will be private.
