David L. Dailey, 74, Muncie, died January 27, 2017 at Waters Edge Village in Muncie after an extended illness.
He was born April 10, 1942 in Anderson the son of Reuben and Genevieve (May) Dailey.
David was employed by Anderson Newspapers as a photographer and later operated May-Day Studio where he did wedding photography and produced some of the first color postcards of Anderson landmarks.
He attended East Side Church of God in Anderson.
He is survived by his brother, Tim Dailey of Anderson, two nephews, Trevor (Erica) Dailey and Derek (Ashley) Dailey and several cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Donn L. Dailey.
A Graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, February 1st at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Glen Cox officiating.
