WORCESTER-Cecile M. (Abraham) Lynch, 91, of Worcester passed away Monday, January 23 in Florida, Palm Beach Gardens. Her husband, Thomas B. Lynch, II died in 1996 and her Son Thomas B. Lynch III died in 1992. She leaves a son, Bob Lynch and his wife Karen of Palm Beach Gardens, Fl, a sister in-law, Patricia Abraham of Shrewsbury, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Cecile was pre-deceased by her brothers, John, George, and James and sisters, Annie, Josephine, and Juliette.
She was born in Fairfield, ME daughter of Rashid and Mamie (Slayman) Abraham
and attended Commerce High School in Worcester. Her first job was working at her Father's Store, Abraham's Spa. She was a working mother and homemaker. A devoted Catholic and Mother who was a member of St. Stevens as a wife and Our Lady of Perpetual Help as a young woman.
Cecile’s Funeral will be held Saturday, February 4 from CALLAHAN FAY & CASWELL Funeral Home, 61 Myrtle Street with a Mass at 10:00 am in Saint Stephen's
Church, 357 Grafton Street. Burial will follow in Saint John's Cemetery. Visiting hours are Friday, February 3, from 4:00 to 6:30pm at the funeral home.
