Susan (Reinhard) Thomson, 60, a resident of Medway for the past 30 years, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston surrounded by her family following a courageous battle with cancer. She was the beloved wife of David P. Thomson since 1979.
Born in Detroit, Michigan on February 1, 1956, she was the daughter of John H. and Joyce M. (Nette) Reinhard of Fountain Hills, Arizona.
Susan grew up in Grosse Pointe Farms, Michigan and graduated from Hillsdale College in 1978. She subsequently earned a Master’s Degree in Finance from Southern New Hampshire University.
Susan worked as an accounting manager at Caliper Life Sciences in Hopkinton for many years.
She was past president of the Home and School Committee and the Medway Newcomers Club in addition to participating in many other groups and activities.
In addition to her husband and parents, she is survived by a son Brian Thomson and his wife Alexandra of Peabody, a daughter Megan Thomson of Brighton and two brothers, John Reinhard, Jr. of Grosse Pointe, Michigan and Mark Reinhard of Scottsdale, Arizona.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her memorial service at Christ the King Lutheran Church, 600 Central St. in Holliston on Wednesday, February 1 at 10 a.m.
