Obituary

Eric M. Browne Jr. “Pepa” of Bridgewater, MA, left this world January 23, 2017 surrounded by his loving wife of 58 years Beverly “Chichi” Browne and family Eric M. Browne III, Jarrod Browne, Bryant Browne and Monica Soares. He is also survived by his sister Marlene Browne of MD, a brother Peter M. Browne of FL, 5 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, a daughter-in-law, sister and bothers-in-law.
Mr. Browne served in The U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. He retired from McLean Hospital as a Budget Analyst after 40 years.
Known to many as “Mr. Browne” he had lived in Brockton for 42 years and could be seen many days sweeping and cleaning W. Rossetter Street. He was involved in community service and served on the Board of the Brockton Neighborhood Health Center for 20 yrs., Board Member at Massasoit Community College and BIC. He also served as a camera man for the Brockton Community Cable Access Channel.
Mr. Browne was a Coach for the Bertrocci Club Football team. He loved to work on cars and hence for his second job worked at U-Haul part time for over 30 years. Mr. Browne and his family had enjoyed camping for over 50 years; he and his family have traveled to many parts of the country camping.
Visiting hours will be held in the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont St. (rte. 123) Brockton on Sunday 12-3pm with a Funeral Service 3-4pm. Burial will be at a later date.
