Guy E. Campobasso, Jr, passed away peacefully at home after a lengthy illness. He was 71. A life-long Medford resident he was a long-time employee of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Devoted to his family he was very active at Medford’s Sons of Italy Lodge, where he served in many leadership positions.
The beloved husband of the late Wendy L. (Mannes), he was a devoted father to Wendy Black of Medford, Guy Campobasso III of Medford, Kimberly Beasley and her husband Brian of North Andover, Nancy Campobasso of Medford, Charles Campobasso and his wife Amy of North Andover, Teresa Squillacioti and her husband Mark of Everett and Peter Campobasso of Medford. He was a loving grandfather to Jordan, Michael, Taylor, Christopher, Brian, Ashley, Brianna, Katherine, Kayla and Mark. He was also a dear brother of Al Campobasso of Maine and Josephine Mattuchio of Medford.
A funeral service will be conducted in the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, Friday January 27th at 1PM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit at the funeral home on Thursday 4 – 8 PM.
