Loran L. "Dude" Warner, 73, of Anderson died January 21, 2017 at Community Hospital in Anderson.
He was born, October 30, 1943 in Anderson to Loran W. And Virginia (Hunnell)
Warner.
He served in the National Guard for 6 years.
He was a fork truck driver for Guide Lamp from 1963 to 1995 and was a member of United Auto Workers Local 663. After retirement he was self employed doing business as Dude's Remodeling. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church where he served at Trustee and a member of Anderson Corvette Club.
He enjoyed family time, jet skiing, NASCAR, traveling to Hawaii, and drag racing.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Pam Warner; three children, Paige (Herb) Clark, Angie Haygood and Aaron Warner all of Anderson; six grandchildren, Taylor and Connor Clark; Morgan (Tyler) Mullins, Dillen Carper, Mercedes Warner and Audrey Warner; great grandson, Leighton Mullins; brother, Jim Warner of Anderson; sister-in-law, Suzi Tharp and two nephews, Barry Tharp and Nick Warner; and several cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, son-in-law, Donald Haygood, Jr., sister, Anita Warner and nephew, Brett Warner.
Service will be held at 7 p.m. on Friday, January 27 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Rev. Kevin Bausman officiating.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. prior to the service.
Memorial contributions may be given to the First Presbyterian Church or Madison County Humane Society.
