Manchester– Rachel A. Radwan, 80, died January 22, 2017 at her home following a brief illness.
She was born in Manchester on April 10, 1936 the daughter of Adam and Alberta (Bineau) Rocheleau.
Prior to her retirement she worked at CMC Hospital in Housekeeping. She was a Parishioner of St. Joseph Cathedral.
Her mother would always say “ She was born with an ice cream in one hand and a corn on the cob in the other.” She enjoyed bingo, going to Foxwoods, the beach and going dancing with her best friend Shirley.
She was predeceased by her husband, Michael P. Radwan Sr. on June 19, 2001, and an infant son.
She leaves behind her son, Michael P. Radwan Jr., two grandchildren, Heather M. Radwan, Ryan M. Radwan, and a grandson, Ryson D. Radwan all of Manchester.
She was predeceased by two brothers, Bob Rocheleau, Raymond Rocheleau and one sister, Rita Lencki.
Calling hours will be on Thursday January 26, 2017 from 2 to 4 PM at J. N. Boufford & Sons Funeral Home, 110 Bridge St.
A prayer service will be held on Friday at 10 AM in the funeral home.
Committal prayers and burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the funeral home to defray funeral expenses.
